Padare will be conducting dialogues with in school boys in Nkayi and Mutasa districts from the week starting 8 June 2015. The dialogues will be on positive masculinities, gender and gender responsive laws. The dialogues will also challenge the boys to take action against Gender Based Violence in the communities that they live through the utilization of localized referral pathways .
On June 6th hundreds of Padare from Alaska and Lion's Den in Makonde Districts took to the streets to protest against gender based violence on children. The message was loud and clear that all forms of violence were no longer to be tolerated, especially sexual violence against women and girls.
Padare/Enkundleni/Men's Forum on Gender joins the rest of the world in celebrating women's achievements by commemorating the International Women's Day. The Padare team has dedicated all their working time and resources in working with men and boys to improve the lives of women and girls in Zimbabwe for the past 20 years.
